Great job! Sorry the EF adapter was wonky. Let that be a lesson not to force m42 to EF adapters on! There's two kinds of m42: standard and Pentax. if it's not one, try the other. That was the result of the bad adapter. Glad you had backup though! Just ordered a replacement.
